In 2005, Hock turned to writing, after eight years as a teacher (history) and 25 in finance (as a banker and then, as they say, on the corporate side).
This website is devoted to his preoccupations since then. He has chosen for the domain name, Sleeping Dragon Books. This is due to his admiration for Zhuge Liang, a major character in The Battle of Chibi. He was the consigliere of one of the three warlords and had what is believed to be a Taoist “style” or nickname, Wo Long, which can be translated as Sleeping Dragon.
